Hello all
I am flying PE MAN - MCO out 22nd August - back 05th September 2013 on VS075 / VS076 seats 20A/C on an A330
I have flown PE 7 or 8 times now but only on 747's and 340's from Heathrow/Gatwick
What are PE services like at Manchester ?
I read other trip reports saying that there is some sort of security priority service at Gatwick for PE now - is this new ?
Is there any sort of security priority at Manchester ?
Any general tips for using Manchester ?
thanks
Paul

Hi - to be honest, the PE service on board the a/c is exactly the same ex MAN as it is LGW and really also LHR.
There is no priority security line for PE pax, just the usual PE desks, along with priority boarding.
The only tip I would give, and you might have already sorted this, is to use the Manchester Airport meet and greet parking. You take your car to the meet and greet car park, drop it, walk the 2 mins to the terminal and do the reverse on your return, no messing about waiting for chauffeurs etc, and it is usually a good price.

Hi,
I've never seen any PE security priority service at Gatwick, but that's not to say there isn't any. I've just never seen it.
Manchester isn't the most exciting airport, there are shops and restaurants, but you won't be able to spend hours in either, it's just not that big.
Hope this helps
G.

You can pay for priority security - about £3 each I think, bookable on the airport website.
Frankie and Benny's is a reasonable place for breakfast - good value and good service when we have used it.
http://eatdrinkandfly.com/sometimes have some voucher offers.
Have a good trip.

There is priority security at Gatwick for PE passengers, they usually put a sticker on your boarding card

Yes, PE get the fast track security at LGW which is usually heavily queued when the main departures is empty, so I've never seen it being a fast track in any way...

Would def second the use of Manchester airport meet and greet as have used every time I have flown from there and is usually about the same price as onsite long term parking. Very quick and convenient.
