I would be surprised to see Air Berlin stay in Oneworld. Given Etihads influence and wanting them to work with AF/KL also...
I flew Air Berlin back in May and thought it was funny that they kept showing a looped video of the Air Berlin and Etihad partnership... it also included a lot of footage of Virgin Australia signage and even a VA plane flying along with an Etihad one. Guess it wasa sign of things to come!

I had a look at the Air Berlin website last night and my preconceptions of them being a European based Low Cost Carrier were well and truly dispelled.
I'd certainly consider them in future.
