Seating Advice Please

Good morning from Vancouver! Weirdly sat here after posting my outbound TR getting ready for my 90 seat request for Mrs P's and I first Upper trip in 10 years to IAD.
We will be travelling on A330, 3 class (unless changed) and have searched and read this fine forum for tips on best sets for couples. Would I be right in saying that two seats both window side, I.e. 4, 5 K would be ideal. I was toying with a set the other side of the aisle but comments on here discuss traffic.
I guess I am leaning on my fellow V-Flyers for experience and confidence oo)
Thanking you all in advance y) ^)

Yep two window seats next to each other are the ideal here.
4- 6K or 4-6A get my vote. y)
I wouldn't worry too much about foot traffic given the cramped nature of the cabin.. you are going to hear most of what happens on the other side of the plane unfortunately.

Thanks Joey y) My booking is showing view or change seats but at 90 days & 20 hours it is too early as I can an error message! Appreciate the info my friend ^)

I concur with joey. 4-6k are good. They would be my first choice too.

The only seating advice you need in YVR is to go to the bar at the Granville Island Brewery !

Did that yesterday Tonty....a marvellous place y) Also went to the Yaletown Brewing co for a couple of samplers
The seating request is for my up and coming IAD flight and it seems middle window seats are the answer ^)

only other point i'd make is that the galley is at the front on the 330's so the back end of the UC cabin tends to be quieter, especially on an overnight

Good point. So what would be the equivalent of the 4-6k on the A330? in terms of privacy?

Poster is talking about the A330-300 ?|
The front galley isn't the only one though.. there is also a galley behind the bar. Plus bar noise and light intrusion itself.... I would personally stick with 4-6A or K

I'm flying this route next month, on the A330 and have seat 5A booked, hoping it's a good one. Enjoy.

there is a small galley behind the bar & the bar itself but on overnights I've been on they don't use these areas once the cabin lights are turned off. all the breakfast prep is done in the forward galley. The K side seats right at the back are very private as they face onto the rear of the bar bulkhead

But that said, isn't the back of the final K seat also used for bar bottle storage? I'd have thought that if the bar was being well used, the clink of bottles could become rather irritating!

Hi joey
My bad. What I meant to enquire was which row of seats face the wall? Like 4-6k does in the 346?
Is it the same on the 330 ?

oops. :0 B)
I probably should have checked out the seating map on v-flyer. I have done that now. $-)
Then in that case I would perhaps stick with 4-6a or k

Thanks Blacky.
Im still a rookie here so....go easy on a Virgin lol
looks very nice. I think the selection recommended of 4-6 a or k is good.

Ha ha ,no worries, any a or k seats are ok to be honest but the middle rows to be avoided as they are noticeably smaller ,it's just a very cramped cabin

Yep it is and yep it is very annoying if you are trying to get some shut eye.. there will always be the clinking here given the crew have to do inventory and the storage holders are not flush with the bottles, hit some turbulence and it sounds like wind chimes ii)

Having just come back on this plane on a night flight from BGI, we took 3A, 4A and 5A. Have to say I would say 3-7A and those mentioned in K would be good, quiet and as private as you can get.
I have done a TR on the return flight.
Have a lovely flight back.
