help with a Delta/KLM booking

Can't get my head around the VS Delta situation.

I have a return flight DUB - ATL - EYW in September. I booked the flight on ebookers and had supplied my skymiles number and expect to get about 9k skymiles. Given the parternership between VS and DL I thought I would credit the miles to my vs account instead.
However, not all the booking classes are listed on FC as earning (i.e N isn't and looks like an award bucket on Delta!!!).
This might be because the Dub-ATL sectors are KLM tickets (but delta metal). The question is would I get FC miles for each sector anyway (if the classes are KLM classes for those two sectors) or none at all?

The sectors and classes are as follows:
Dub-ATL KLM flight, Delta metal Class V
ATL-EYW Delta flight/Metal Class V
EYW-ATL Delta flight/metal Class T
ATL - Dub KLM flight, Delta metal Class N

Should I forget FC and credit to Skymiles?

Thanks

A confusing state of affairs isn't it... I think the simplest thing is to keep the skymiles number in the booking and just take the DL points from it.

However if you wish to go with earning VS miles, bear in mind the JV is only between Delta and VS, as opposed to skyteam and VS.. to get the miles from the DL flights they would have to be ticketed by DL into a qualifying fare bucket too I am afraid to say.

You may be able to get ebookers to reclassify the ticket for you into the DL fare buckets but not sure if this will be without cost as the booking would no longer be using the available KLM allocation.

You can get miles for the V and T fare tickets no probs though, it is just that last N fare - always one isn't there :P

Even though the transatlantic flights are on Detal metal, they are actually marketed by KLM with a KL code by the looks of it and as such won't earn FC miles as KL is not a FC partner.
