Penalised for more than 4 flights in 1 booking

I can't believe it!
I have a booking for early September that includes 4 Virgin flights.
I have tried to reserve my seats with 'manage my booking'. Just found out it can't be done online if you have 4 or more flights on one booking.
Now that is a great incentive not to use Virgin for multi stop trips.
Anyway, I thought, "not the end of the world", I'll ring them.
Three times this weekend I have tried to call Virgin. I have hung on for 35,45 and 50 minutes and my calls have not been answered.
So, the moral of this story is that I will never use Virgin again if the trip requires 4 or more trips from the same airline. The annoying thing here is was I could have got BA cheaper!

I found the same with the great escape ticket - if you have a flying club at silver or gold, call that number directly, I usually get an agent within 10 mins of holding.

I've been told you can olci - I'll find out in 52 mins I guess :)

Do try 01293 562345 during office hours Monday to Friday & then ask for the relevant dept etc. Always quicker when I've done this.

Good luck

The wife and I are having the same issue with our Multi Stop bookings.
We are on separate bookings but are on the same flight for one leg called FC AU and managed to request 12 A+K for LHR-SFO leg in a couple of weeks.

I have been told the OLCI will still be available to us but am not holding my breath for SEQ 1+2.

I'm not sure why the system can't show more than four flights for one booking ref.

It all sounds rather juvenile of Virgin. Can we blame their IT department or is there some sort of reasoning behind this ?
