Upper and PE prices

How come the fares are seemingly the same for these two cabins when you check prices on here even for the same flight!?!?

PE in a high bucket and UC in a low bucket like a z maybe ?

Sometimes if no upper seats are available the price will default to PE, so it will show upper for same price as PE but if you look carefully on the VS site you will see it is quoting for PE

I think the OP is talking about the fare watch on V Flyer home page. It ALWAYS shows Upper fares for PE and UC as far as I can tell...

For example you can certainly get a PE fare to NYC for less than a grand.

There is a glitch on the fare watch tool, it's always best to check the VS website for the most accurate prices.

I was also referring to the fare watch, in my previous experience I've found it often quoted a PE price in the UC column due to availability issues making upper fares look artificially low!, though it does seem today to be doing the opposite and quoting UC price in the PE column making PE look artificially high, you are quite right that PE fares to New York can be had or less than £1000, I'm lost for any explanation on that one
