Just bagged two G's

First time in upper literally can't contain my excitement. A real one off treat for our 1st wedding anniversary.

Will be travelling on VS5 on A330. Any suggestion of best seats. I know UCDS not had the best reception but couldn't turn down the opportunity.

If this this the same plane I had for BGI/LGW, we had 3,4,5A. They come thoroughly recommended (and probably similar to the same in K).

We shall be enjoying the delights of DTCI, CH and 11.5 hours in UC in exactly 2 weeks time !

Well done you and a lovely treat for your 1st anniversary. I always choose the A or K sides and normally 3 or 4 A or K to be specific on the A330.

Thanks for your advice on the seat.

One more question, if i don't use DTCI (already have car park booked) can i still use the upper class wing. i.e private security?

You certainly can do 0 just head up in the lift located just along from the UC desks, scan your boarding pass and the door will open to lead you through there!
