Positive Lufthansa Experience

Hi all,

I've just complete a round trip to Prague via Frankfurt in the last couple of days with Lufthansa. It was a great value flight booked some months ago and such was the positive experience I though I would share.

All cc crew were friendly and professional although it seemed there were only 5 cc on board.

We flew Economy (7 of us), and all flights arrived on time. Some nice little touches like free newspapers (help your self at the gate) that you don't get with some low cost airlines. The food and drink, although served slowly was of great quality ( good chocolate chip cookie, cranberry cake and a german dish of potato salad with capers, topped with strips of salmon), and a full choice of wine, beer or soft drinks).

I think the best surprise was the amount of legroom in the seat. I definitely think its the most roomy i've seen on a real bargain of a short haul flight.

Only 26 days to LAS

Thanks for posting y)

Very well timed, as I have my first Lufthansa experience tomorrow, when we go on a city break from BHX to Hamburg.

I hope we have the same positive experience that you had.

Nick

Any chance of a trip report? We don't get many Lufthansa ones!

I posted a trip report from last year and I have to say, my experience echoes yours. I thought they were splendid!

I am absolutely dying to try one of its transatlantic flights after reading some of the reports on flyer talk.

In May I flew SFO-MUC in economy on their A340-600, it was great! The toilets downstairs, in the belly, are kind of weird and can generate quite a queue! All good though. Nice plane, good crew and all in all a pleasant exp.

I apologise for not writing a TP! This week I'll be flying BuinessFirst on United from SFO-LHR and will be sure to let you all know via a TP.
