We have 'bid' for PE on a flight to Dubai in November, cuurently we have paid extra for extra legroom so its not the end of the world if we are not sucessful. I wonder how far in advance we are notified of the upgrade or non upgrade.

Not done it with VS but Etihad advise if you are successful a few hours before online checkin opens.
