I received 2 lounge entry vouchers for LHR, as a thanks for earning 60TP, and wanted to help out a friend who is traveling to Tokyo in December with her 7 year old Daughter. Do I need to give her 2 vouchers (Adult + Child) or would 1 voucher allow the gratis entry of a 7 year old child of that adult?
Thanks!

The invites are valid per person so your friend will need the two.
The possibility that the CH staff will use their discretion and allow a single voucher to be used for adult and child is very remote. Indeed, given recent cutbacks I think they will stick to the condition of one voucher per person I'm sorry to say.

I've tried (and failed) with the argument that 2 children equals 1 adult when it comes to the free passes. On the plus side, they did fill their boots from the sweetie jars

This does bring up another question I have about Lounge access, not sure if I should start a new thread.
Why is it if you are Au and Flying UC that you do not have two lounge accesses available??
Surely we should get one for the Au card and One for UC ticket??
Has this ever been the case or was I informed of the incorrect answer a few months ago??

It's double dipping so not allowed.
CH access is a UC benefit but the Au benefit is if you are not in UC so you can still access the CH.

I never thought of that!
Now that the guesting rules are so tight, you wonder if they could actually allow this at relatively little extra cost...
