Ok, I know I have left it a bit late but what are your top tips for enjoying the CH ?
Any hidden gems ? Any freebies we or our son would like ?
Planning on trying to grab a treatment of some sort then some lunch, a look at the rooftop for plane spotting.
Do they have magazines or should we pick some up enroute ?

Right, bed time I think. Will be dreaming about LA LA land !

:X

They do have some magazines to take away so see what they have and if you don't like those then you can always go back to duty free and buy some and also think 'this could have been us left here in main departures'

Top tip would be to head to the spa as soon as you arrive then find somewhere to sit etc.

Enjoy !

My top tips are:

Get there as early as you can
Accept the invitation to be shown around
Book a treatment at the earliest opportunity
Take a seat in the brasserie for lunch (AFTER booking your treatment ): )
Seek out the computer game / use the laptops in the library
Sit back and relax
Dont forget to get plenty of sweets for your journey ;)

As for the roof garden, IMHO the views from the Clubhouse are good enough and it could be the the Sky Loft access is taken by some celeb and this may prevent access to the Roof Garden

Enjoy!!

If it's your first time the jacuzzi is a bit of a novelty ( presuming it's operational).
Champagne mojitos :D .
Have fun.

Reference the jacuzzi, do they supply towels? Not sure how i feel about carrying my wet shorts onto the flight after! My friend and I have a long lay-over in December when she gets in for Manchester so we could be tempted... It will be her first time and I will be excited to be in there with someone instead of on my own!! :D

Yes they supply towels and they have a spinner to take out most of the moisture similar to those in good pools and leisure centres

No, I mean where in the Clubhouse? There's a computer game somewhere? Not seen it before. Been there twice.

Use the clear bags they give you at the uc screening for sweets. Last time in July they were making everyone move stuff from their own clear bags to the regulation bag! Pain at time but then realised an ideal sweet carrier. That said last few times sweets have been naff.
