Can I claim Gov taxes back on flight I cannot make ?

Hi all,
Is it possible that I could claim Gov taxes back on flight I cannot make ? (non flexible/changeable fare)

yes - you can claim the taxes and airport fees back less an admin fee (which is either £25 or £30). You won't get the fuel surcharge back though.

As they will of already spent it to cover that unforeseen rise in the fuel cost......
