V-Flyer

As some of you may know I'm flying down to AKL this weekend via SYD with VS and VA.From what I can gather I am able to access the VA SYD lounge being VS AU but the VA lounge is in the Domestic Terminal and my flights are from the International one, does anyone know if I'm able to transfer between Terminals without a visa.

Or can I use the AIR NZ Koru club lounge in the international terminal.

You will need an evisitor or similar.

To get to the Domestic terminal you have to go through immigration/security/customs in the International terminal......if you haven't got a visa then you wont get into Australia.

And if you apply for one now you might get it before Saturday..it has been a prompt service when I have used it.

Thanks for the info, as I'm only there for four hours I don't really want to have to go through immigration.

I'm hoping to use the Koru lounge in the International Terminal just not sure if I'm eligible VS say as an AU I can use VA lounges, VA say their AU's can use the Koru as they don't have their own International lounge but no clear guidelines about VS AU's.

I would just really like a shower and something to eat before my onward journey, I will try to get one at HKG but as I'm flying PE LHR-HKG I think I'll be at the back of the shower queue.

The transfer between International and Domestic is not free, unless you are connecting onto to a Domestic Service and it is not walkable (despite being just the other side of the runway!).
I would not recommend doing this.

Not sure as I have never looked in Sydney International, but here in Melbourne there are free showers within the International terminal departures area - need your own towel and toiletries though.

The lounge access policy is complicated - eg as a VA Platinum/Gold there is no access to the ANZ lounge at LAX when flying with VS in Y or PE.
