VS603 (CPT) any chance of an aircraft change in Jan 14?

Booked a G to CPT for Jan 14 in UC - and i notice in the history that the majority of flights are on a 340-300.
With the "new" 330's in the fleet, what do you reckon are the chances of getting a change to either a 600 or 330 are?
I know they sometimes sub the 340 - 300 for a 600 but are there any plans to do the route on anything other than a 340 - 300?

I have opted to return from JNB so i know that route is "almost" exclusively on a 340 - 600.
Any insight welcome........

As far as I'm aware the 330 doesn't have crew rest which for CPT is needed for the crew. So you won't get the 330.

This winter the CPT is scheduled to be on a 340-300 but of course things can change

I believe the 600 is scheduled to operate LHR-CPT on WED/FRI/SAT throughout the winter months.

If that's the case, then that's excellent news as i am scheduled for a Wed....
Let's wait and see until next month when the seat booking can be done.

The A330-300's Virgin has would almost certainly run out of gas before reaching CPT.

LHR-CPT is 6012 miles

Maximum published ranges (actual results may vary!)
A330-3 6400nmi
A340-3 7400nmi
A340-6 7750nmi

It's certainly a bit tight for a A330!
