Hi,

First time poster so please be gentle!

I am flying LGW-LAS in UC and need to know what type of plugs work in the power outlets please. I will want to charge my iPad/iPhone.

After searching in vain on the website (the only airline I have found that has no info about this on their website), I emailed VA and they "helpfully" told me that I would need to buy a Kensington adaptor at the airport and gave me a whole ream of info about laptop voltages (which I did not enquire about). Now, Kensington is a brand not a type of plug so that was absolutely no help.

I have US/UK/EUR/Empower adaptors and just need to know which one to take. I thought it would be quicker/easier to ask the experts on here rather than get another non-answer from VA.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome! See this thread: forum/index.php?f=4&t=282768&rb_v=viewtopic

Basically in UC on a LGW 747 you can use a standard UK or US plug. No need for a special adaptor or Empower.

Note though that you can only plug in your devices while you're actually using them. You're not supposed to just leave them charging while they're switched off.
