We found it very simple - just do OLCI and elect to have the boarding pass sent to your iPhone.
When you open up the attachment to the email confirmation on your phone it gives you the option to add to passbook.

Your boarding pass is then on your phone in passbook. It is also still attached to the email conformation as well.

Very easy to use and very efficient in our experience.

Nick

We couldn't use passbook boarding passes because the system can't cope if there are more than two of you on the booking and you both check in at once.

I did exactly what Nick said but instead of sending me the email with the attachment, they sent me the ordinary confirmation to my iPhone. v( I was too busy to do anything about it there and then but later on, while I was in Cork airport and just about to board my flight to LHR, the email with the attachment popped into my email on the iPad.

That night the wifi in the Premier Inn was so flaky that I couldn't resend it to the iPhone so decided to go the usual route. :( So there was I, sitting in the CH having ordered brekkie and what pops into the mailbox on the iPhone? Yup, the Passbook attachment! :o)

Used it a few times now and it's very easy.

Also remember that it's currently only available when departing the UK as well.

No idea if or when it's going to be rolled out to other destinations?
