Well, temp lounge to be precise, atmosphere just needs a muffled dentist's drill in adjacent room....await snuggle down on a G for red eye return...

As ever the NH's time their visit with the most rainy day in over 6 months.. Otherwise a seafood/fish filling and very welcoming visit, if a little wet for last two days...
Least 1 fantastic clear day up Grouse Mountain, as per HL earlier in the week.

Shame about the rain. Enjoy the rest of your stay in the temp lounge. If it will make you feel better, you could always try to download the sound of the dentist's drill.

Have a great flight back.

Yes, the temporary lounge was pretty grim and the wi-fi was poor enough on the particular day I was there.

The lounge isn't that great, but I remember that you could help yourself to booze and I found the VAT quite acceptable, hick.

Glad you enjoyed Grouse Mountain, views are stunning. Did you see the bears?

Have a great flight home.

I found the food in that lounge much better than the usual sandwiches, the little spring rolls were excellent and even the soup was good. For for Priority Pass level of lounge, its quite good.

Does BA have a real lounge there though?

As NH said, it is currently a temporary lounge as the current one is being refurbed. This one is next to gate 64 from which VS departs. It is a small windowless room and although there is a reasonable spread of food, including a couple of hot dishes. It is rather soulless and I found it very stuffy. Outside this room, the airport authorities have cordoned off a space with armchairs and small tables for Premium Plaza passengers and while it is airy one is subjected to the usual airport noise.
