On flights VS43-44 in PE upstairs are those passengers last to leave the aircraft?
I remember reading last year those passengers were held back until economy had disembarked. My seats are available in 5 days for selection but do not want select the bubble then be last off the aircraft!

There is a small section of about 32 economy passengers at the back of the bubble who would disembark before you plus the Premium economy and possibly Upper Class section downstairs. Economy downstairs 'should' be held back until all of these passengers have disembarked.

On the flights I've taken since the 'new' configuration, I've never known this not to happen. :)

I travelled economy in the bubble on a packed night flight from MCO in January, no vacant PE/UC seats so couldn't upgrade, but for $75 I bagged a legroom seat in row 75 (I think) with about 2 metres of legroom, it was best undrugged economy sleep I had in 30 years flying, also been up there in PE in the past

I recommend it, so much quieter than downstairs and the cabin was spacious with 2+2 and 3+3 seating, no delays leaving the aircraft

the only slight downside in PE is limited space for cabin baggage, they have some storage below the windows but it's not able to take larger bags that would fit ok in overhead lockers

The side bins for the back row of Premium on the upper deck (row 24 on both sides of the cabin) are actually deeper than the others and so will fit a larger bag in them, one reason why I always try for this row when I'm flying Premium on the LGW/MAN 744's.
