Has anyone tried passbook on ios 7 for a boarding pass yet?
I could not use the file sent to me by VS for both my LR flight to MAN thismorning or the one I now have for my return tomorrow. The attachment is not being recognised as a passbook file in the email.

Yes I had this - I think I had to download the email on the iPhone mail app... Or he it via Google on Safari. One of those ones.

I am wondering if VS are having an issue. I have used numerous passbook boarding passes up until today (including two weeks ago on iOS 7).

However my boarding pass for a flight to MAN this evening simply wouldn't open. I did nothing different to what I have always done.

Well at least it is not just me!

I was just going to say something about this. My boarding pass disappeared from my passbook after I did the update yesterday

I used it for my Lufthansa flights no problem

I have tried all browsers I can think of on my phone and iPad (safari, chrome, mail app, hotmail app etc.) but still just get a message 'can't open file type'
Might have to have a chat with one of the VS ground crew when I get back down to LHR.

Precisely what happened to me on my 5S

Ditto - the same problems occurring on my iPhone 5S running iOS 7. My previous passbook VS passes all work, and I can open the new one I've received on my Mac, but iOS 7 doesn't seem to like it. Anyone found a good way to report this to Virgin?

I'm flying BA up to Scotland back with Little Red.

BA boarding works with Passbook FINE
