VA dealing with bereavement

I know it moaned about VA baggage increase cost Responce but they did come back on a compassionate question.

Lost my mother in law last week so called VA to advise of her passing and we will be canceling her flight so they have an extra return seat. I spoke to her travel insurance and once we have her death certificate they will reimburse us ticket cost( minus claim excess cost) we'll VA said if send a copy of death certificate to them they will refund full cost. So don't need to claim on travel insurance.

Hope this may help in some way anyone else who may find the selfs in such a sad situation.

Sincere condolences on your loss.I lost my wife under similar circumstances this year and VS were absolutely brilliant, and compassionate,refunding the full fare on receipt of the death certificate.
