A330 2 class & booked UC

I am due to fly to DEL in Dec in UC. I've been watching which aircraft are flying the route. It appears a 2 class A330 has done the route 12% of the time.
If I end up in PE as there is no UC cabin what can I expect from Virgin and what are my rights, if any?

The A330's are currently being fitted with an upper cabin making them changeable between LGW and LHR. So you shouldn't have a problem.

Don't worry....VS no longer have any 2-class A333s. They did have three but the last one was refitted into a 3-class layout a few weeks ago.
Enjoy UC

What was the reason for two class in the end?

Think when the first A330's arrived the "dream suite" hadn't been approved as I believe it was originally designed for the 787. Thus all the issues with space etc.
Could be wrong though.

Aye, that's what I heard. The first two 333s arrived before the new "improved" (not!) Suites were complete. So these two were fitted as Economy + Premium only and deployed on the holiday routes (MCO mostly) where UC demand is lowest. It was always the intention to re-fit them.
