Pretty sure I've seen a virgin ac pictured in the background as DC stands for a photo shoot. VA flying the PM? Nice one. Telegraph reports he's off to china. Special service or regular ?

exactly what I was thinking this morning. Obviously him and the "lords" would be in UC, perhaps the journo's and the like had to rough it at the back of the bus lol

Virgin had flown the Prime Minster for several years now.
We have the main MOD contract to fly the government, we won the tender from BA to do so

What happens to the scheduled flights that aircraft was supposed to operate? Do things get juggled about to smaller aircraft or do flights just get cancelled?

There are 5 LHR 744's, in the summer working the 1,5,7,19 and 45.
However, currently the 7 is being operated by a 346, and often the 5 is as well, so the fleet has some spare capacity

I saw this on breakfast TV shame it was an old livery showed would have been good to see new livery
