I am aware Emirates commissioned one as my company were invited to tender for construction of it, however is there a "Virgin" lounge at Glasgow? Naturally as I am in "Y" I would need to pay and indeed would happily do so.

No, they use a shared lounge - the Sky Lounge according to the website.

I've never been but reviews suggest it's a fairly standard, average lounge with basic snacks and a limited bar - sounds similar to Servisair's offering at EDI or ABZ albeit with better views.

Thanks, yes I have been in this one in the past when I travelled BA IIRC I may just do a Starbucks and pick up a Bacon Buttie at Eat!
