Storm Disruption

Ok, so I completely understand that yesterday must have been a headache for VALR but after the last LHR-ABZ being cancelled last night, I'm on the 9.20 this morning. It's now also been cancelled and I'm moved to BA. It's really odd. The weather is perfect. Clear blue skies, not a breath of wind. Aberdeen is ok too. The first flight from ABZ comes to LHR to serve the 9.20 back yet its cancelled? I can understand them combining 40% loads to save money, but moving me to BA? If the AC was out of position, it would be here! Exactly where I need it. Mmmnnnn Thoughts?

I flew into Gatwick from Marrakesh last night, landed 11.15pm, perfect landing, no buffeting ---- so it would appear winds have been fine across the south east for many hours?

The ABZ route cabin crew are all based in Aberdeen. This means that they would have been out of position yesterday evening. Not sure if this would have had an impact?
