Guesting in Clubhouse in different airline

Can anyone clarify something for me - I'm flying 1 way upper to DXB to join a cruise on 17 April and I couldn't get a second reward seat in any other class on VS.

I've therefore booked my husband using Avios onto a BA codeshare flight with Qantas from T3 in PE as that was the only availability with BA too. It works out better as at least we're both travelling from the same terminal.

My flight departs at 2200 and his at 2230.

Can I guest him into the Clubhouse as he's not on a VS flight?

Lynne

Hi Lynne - I'm afraid not.

Not only must any guest you invite into the Clubhouse be travelling on VS, they must be on the same flight as you.

If you want to be together in a lounge, you could try the No.1 Lounge which offers paid entry (and discounts to those with status with VS) - it's no Clubhouse but as shared lounges go it's not too shabby.

NO 1in T3 is easily the best non airline ran lounge I've ever visited in world. In fact it puts a few non VS airline lounges to shame. It's almost clubhouse class - the only quibble is the food is limited in hot selections in the free choice!
