Uptown Girl still in st Lucia after 21 days - looks like damage was worse than early estimates. Local news update Here:

Looks like Uptown Girl is coming home.....a positioning flight back to LGW is showing leaving St Lucia on Monday afternoon y)

Well spotted. Did think about arranging a welcome home party, but 4.10am is a little early for me .. Wonder if she will be pressed straight back to service or require more attention.

Don't think there will be many if any fare payers on board, just a repositioning flight to LGW for final checking. Not sure I would volunteer for the first fully loaded landing though, but I suppose if the wheels were going to come off it would have done so at UVF. I'm sure it will have been inspected to death during the last three weeks.
