V-Flyer

My first Little Red flight. I've really been looking forward to it and have ended up with over an hour's delay.

Anyway I've spent a while in the waiting room otherwise known as the Servisair lounge and have had a few of the mixed nuts that may contain nuts.

Hopefully we'll take off soon and I can have a well deserved sleep.

Ps. The flight is being operated by Titan Airways. Didn't quite catch why.

Didn't have too long to wait. We pushed back on time and it was a quick flight.

Yes Joey it's a TP run. A great sale is always a good time to do one.

How did you find flying Titan? I've flown them a couple of times back and forth LCY when originally booked with BA Cityflyer. I found their aircraft and service to be superb.

Airlines use charters such as Titan when short on aircraft for whatever reason.

They were indeed superb. The crew were efficient and the seat was comfy. I didn't recline but never felt cramped like I normally do on these domestic flights.

Great to hear the crew were on top form........ Shame about the delay, I had seen that Titan had been brought in to operate the VS3044/3045.

But it's a great place to charge your phone/laptop, and considering the distance from gate 8, a good way to wok off all those calories gained from eating all those nuts and crisps.

I was on this same flight. I was impressed with VS to switch to the Titan service rather than cancelling the flight. I also thought it was excellent that they had printed off letters explaining the issue. Apart from the lack of ice and lemon on the flight, it was just like a normal little red flight without the virgin branding. Well done VS!

This is a weekly route for me and usually leaves on time, apart from when we've had the really bad weather and this operational challenge on the 16th.
