Hello From LHR Clubhouse

It's really quiet here at the moment, the New York Flight has been cancelled due to bad weather. Just had afternoon tea and I am waiting for the new Red Carpet cocktail to try out. Booked a cut and blow dry and they have thrown in a complimentary hair treatment and head massage. y) The Red Carpet has just arrived, it's not very red! but tastes OK. I'm liking the new look Library area ( Are they making more seating area ready for the Delta passengers? ). Hoping for some sunshine in Dubai also celebrating Mr Daffodil's birthday.

Thank you everyone for your god wishes. Now at the Hilton Resort and Spa with a very nice upgrade to a seaview king executive suite. Weather 22 degrees and sunny, the pool a cool 26 degrees but we stil braved it for a swim. We had a great time in the CH. Buns the Red Carpet was OK but not really my taste. Had an excellent cut and blow dry ( New hairdresser only been there for 10 months ). Will do a TR on the flight shortly. Jurgen look foward to meeting you at a Sandals in the future, we are considering Grenada or Exuma for our next stay.

is that the Hilton Resort and Spa at RAK? we were there last january, lovely time, got an upgrade to one of the villas about halfway along, so long walks but really nice

there's a good restaturant at the far northern end, you can sit outside, they have heaters if it's a cool evening - threw caution to the winds and ordered a bottle of bolly

after a while a regretful waiter apologised that they'd run out, asked would we accept a bottle of dom p at the same price! almost tore his arm off :)

Hi Sungod
Yes it is the Hilton Resort and Spa RAK. We were here last January also, we were even lucky than you being upgrade to the Royal Villa - the one with its own swimming pool outside and hamam inside. Well done on the dom p. We will try this on Mr Daffodil's birthday on Sunday.
