V-Flyer

Hi all,
I know there was a thread about this a while ago, cannot seem to find it.
Just been on the phone to VS asking a question about a flight. The very helpful agent informed me that my booking from my corp travel agent are coming thru with my old FC number that starts 00902xxxxxx and informs me that this has now changed to 00901xxxxx even tho my renewal cards for this year came through with the old number.
Is there a reason for this? does the change from a "2" to "1" mean I have slipped in the internal Au ranking :0 :0 or is this just an IT change??
Just really intrested as it means I have to go and update all my travel profiles.....

Same thing happened to me a few years ago, switched from 00900 to 00901 without any explanation. I just put in down to a reordering in the membership number allocation system. Your guess is a good as mine though, maybe I was 'promoted' internal AU wise

Sure I hit 100 TP's last year, was hoping for my own personal VS agent to move in and assist with anything I needed. ) )
