Conflicting info about picking seats on Virgin Flights...

Hi all,
I booked a direct flight with Delta back in July, ready for a flight May 19th to Vegas from Gatwick....
Its a codeshare flight, so were on a Virgin plane.....

My delta booking shows and has always shown that i can select seats from 18th Feb, no mention of charge...

Do you reckon:
A: Seat selection is free for me because of it being a Delta booking
B: I can book seats 90 days early because its a Delta booking?

Hi and welcome.

A: No-one who booked a VS flight before the new system was announced in Dec will have to pay.

B: Don't know - but I'd wait until Feb 18th to see whether you actually can request a seat! If you can, great; if not, don't be surprised - you'll presumably have to wait until T-60 like everyone else.

And to avoid any last minute hiccups I'd advise getting the VS reference from Delta. When preassigning my seats on Qantas metal from a booking through Emirates I had to have the Qantas booking reference.

Cheers peeps :)
When I log into my Virgin Flying club account, it picks up my flight (as used my Virgin F club num when I booked the delta flight) automatically, so at least its linked kinda! :) :)

I'll post back on the 18th if I manage to book our seats as it states.....
