Hi all!
We're off to Miami in June and have decided to spend 3 days at the keys, we were already planning to drive down but now fancy breaking it up a bit and staying a few nights.
Can anyone recommend a good hotel or location to stay?

We drove down from Miami to Key West and really enjoyed our stay at the Marquesa.

How about one of the historic B and B s?
I can recommend the Blue Parrot

I can highly recommend the Speakeasy Inn. Although having a rum bar underneath the rooms not only makes it very easy to stumble to bed, it ends up potentially with large hangovers and bar tabs with over 200 types of rum to work through.

Thanks for the replies, we like the look of the ocean key resort and spa. The pier with the bar was the decider!

We have stayed a few times in key west, twice we have stayed on front street/ duval street - the westin (which was a hilton when we went) and pier house in 2011. Very good location, for Mallory square and duval street
We also have stayed on north Roosevelt blvd - too far out

Another vote for the Marquesa, on a lovely street (Fleming) in KW, has parking, and the cafe is excellent.

The marquesa isn't showing available for our dates.
I did like the look of the pier house also.
Thanks again
