Indeed yes - but it was clearly sanctioned by the "relevant people" at VS at the time as the in-cabin shots were probably filmed in the training rig at The Base in Gatwick. (As were the 007 Casino Royale / Quantum of Solace shots). Very nice Bond girl in Casino Royale - but that is another matter .

Maybe as another poster has suggested it was indeed intended to appeal to businessmen watching certain hotel TV channels. If so, the ad probably did the trick - probably gave the best part of 10mins of laughs that would not appear on the room bill as anything that may be dodgy on the expenses form.

Very tacky but somehow funny, at least I thought so. It's got Pam Ann written all over it, wonder if she consulted. Don't know that it would sell the product to anyone though, it's a bit OTT. ):

On a Pam Ann note, I have one of her DVDs and there's a wonderful part where she pulls various CC on stage from the audience. On comes the VS CC and she's like, "are you okay sweety, do you know where you are? Do you know you're here in London?" And this CC bless him, glazed expression on his face, Abercrombie t-shirt and camp as a row of tents. Totally got why she was all "are you okay sweety" lol. There was a question of whether he worked UC but I can't really say what she said next... ):

Just laying in bed watching this, strange looks from Mrs Fuzzy! Absolutely outrageous still can't believe that was officially sanctioned.

I'm on VS044 tomorrow and seen the headline "new experience" and thought this might be interesting ? I wonder what lays in store for me ?

Bretty, me and my partner got pulled up on stage by her a few years back. She even cut his hair. We were in the front row middle and would not leave us alone! B)
I do like pam ann but her NYC DVD is a bit of the same old really!

It beggars belief that this was actually genuine.

I've said this before in a different context (and know I sound boring), but this really shows off a pretty dreadful attitude towards women. VS need to think about this.

I have always liked the fresh and relaxed VS ethos, but sometimes you just cannot fall into the trap of believing your own marketing.
