I have been offered an upgrade from PE to UC from BGI to LGW FOR £480 ..Can anyone advise if this is a good rate to upgrade ? ?|

Entirely depends on the price you paid for your PE ticket?

I paid £760 return for my PE ticket

Given the price you have paid for PE I think this is a good price.

I would, and gives you the chance of getting some well deserved sleep. Dont know why, but I cant sleep on planes unless I have more space.

I can't ever sleep so hopefully I can win him over on this aspect ...fingers crossed.

Worth that price, I would jump at it if offered

£480 for a few hours sleep, for me, I wouldnt bother and put that money towards my next trip

Is that one way? 1240 is excellent for a return, but if thats one way, it places it around the area of a sales fare where you've upgraded one way...

Assuming it's only a one-way upgrade for that money it's not deal of the century, but to me it's still good value -- I'd take it.

Assuming its a booking for 2 and the price is each, I can think of quite a lot of other things I could put £960 towards than a bit more comfort on an 8 hour flight. PE is a nice way to travel.

For example, you could book 2 very nice weekends away short haul for that cash.
