Hi

new member here, as such never flown VA usually use BA.

What can I expect, the tickets are booked through work but I have an exit seat in economy ?

Struggled to find any images of legroom and / or food on board, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Returning VS002 on the 5th May

Ill do a full report on my return

Thanks in advance

Hi Gizzy
If you go into Toolbox, Trip Report Index, enter VS001 in the search box, you'll find quite a few reports from Economy which may help.
Enjoy your flights - and the smiles from Virgin CC which you never seem to get from BA.

Exit row seats have pretty much unlimited legroom EXCEPT those closest to the doors (A & K) where the casing on the inside of the door that contains the evacuation slide protrudes into your space.

Exit row seats are also a bit narrower than normal Y seats as the armrests (which don't move) contain your tray table. People of more than average build often feel very wedged in as the normal Y seats aren't exactly generous for width.

Meals? Bog standard airline food. Beef, chicken or veggie usually. Pretty much identical to BA I'd have thought.

The A330s are the newest planes in the fleet so have the latest touch screen IFE and wifi.

You won't know which actual plane's operating your flight until the day.
