Hi there. We are off to Orlando in May. Have just managed to upgrade to Premium economy for the flight home. My new e-ticket is showing 23 kg luggage allowance for both the outward and return flight. Is this correct? Presumed we would have had 46kg on the way home (for all our many shopping items!!).
Thanks

It is 23kg for each case and you have 2 per person, subject to the size restrictions.
Number of bags: Two
Routes applicable: All Virgin Atlantic routes
Weight per bag: Up to 23kg (50 lb) each
Dimensions per bag: Up to 90 x 75 x 43cm / 35.5 x 29.5 x 16ins
Exceptions: On flights between the UK/US and India, and between the US & Canada and India the allowance is three bags.

You will have 2 x 23kg for the flight home, but as per the link above, each case can only be a max of 23kg.
