Watching an entertaining football match in Barcelona between two teams , Qatar Airlines and Ethiad. Emirates are not in the running.
If Virgin Atlantic were to sponsor a team who would you choose? Are they premier league or fourth division? ?| ?|

Well, being a Liverpool fan then it would be Liverpool..!
That would be amazing, but I would guess it would be someone in the south near LHR to be honest - perhaps Crawley Town FC.

VS used to sponsor Saracens (a Premiership rugby team for the non-rugby fans). VS name & logo was on their shirt for a season or two. I think the relationship has ended now though.

Funny you mention that, when the NFL comes to town, Virgin hhas the contract to fly every NFL team to and from the US, although no advertising is done on the planes

You need to think of a team with the VS characteristics, plucky, taking on the bigger near neighbours, not always successful but doing things a bit differently, doesn't travel to every World Cup destination. Scottish national team!

It was back in early 90's with 'Fly Virgin' on the club shirts.
