Two wrongs make a right?
Posted: 18 Mar 2014, 20:24I've just had two occurrences that I don't think are correct - but are in my favour so I'll take them!
I bought a cheap PE flight for my wife and I in a sale last year, and added an infant after he arrived into the world in October. I can't remember the fare code, but it wasn't W or S.
At check in I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask, so queried if we could upgrade using miles - to my pleasant surprise the answer was yes! Is this right? I thought only W's and S's could be upgraded, or does that go out the window at check-in?
Also, our baby comes with us for no additional miles - I thought I would have to fork out 10% of the miles for him?
Anyway, great news for me - PE is okay but I really want a decent nap on this flight. Thanks VS!
