Could anyone explain if its possible to search for fares using miles and money for PE outbound to mco and miles and money Econ return? The website as far as i can tell only allows you to select one or the other for both legs?? I do have enough miles to use miles and money for PE both ways, are you able to upgrade these tickets to Upper class with miles once purchased? My travel dates are 11th feb 2015 to 27th feb 2015.Apologies if this has been covered before elsewhere on the forum.

We are also flying to mco on the 26th July vs27 and our tickets are L class. Are these up-gradable?

I can answer a few questions, you can search for miles plus money flying in a different class each directions, if on the front page of the virgin website you click on "more options" which is just under the destination and date section, then it will allow you to select different classes. I don't know the upgrade route from a miles and money fare to upper class.

I'm response to your other query the answer is yes an L class fare can be upgraded with both miles and money.

PE m+m is K, which is not upgradeable with points, at check-in you could upgrade for money if there's availability - tbh i've found huge variation in upgrade prices at check-in, sometimes it's a bargain, sometimes it's crazy

yes, L is upgradeable... the-toolbox/fare-codes?code=L but i'd think MCO july will be pretty busy and upgrade seats a rarity

Thank you for you replies, getting the hang of navigating virgins website now. I cannot believe how frequently prices can change over the matter of a few hours!
