Hi all

I was just wondering if there is free WiFi in UC? I will be putting my iPhone on airplane mode so that there isn't any data roaming charges, but I would still like to be browsing on my iPad whilst in the sky.

Thanks in advance for any info

I think the short answer is there is no free wifi in flight. ISTRC there being a small number of 330s enable for Cabin Connect (?) but that was pay as you go...

Thanks for the info. I wouldn't mind paying a fee if necessary though.

It's on a very small amount of A330's I've found- I've been on one flight in last year with it (VS354 TO mumbai). Boss approved me to use it and stream audio of football when I missed a couple of football matches due to being on plane at time of game - but on every occasion was on a A330 with no wifi.

WiFi is only available on 3 of the A333's as a trial:

G-VLUV
G-VGEM
G-VINE

AeroMobile is available on all A333's and the LGW/MAN 744's

I believe it will be on the 787's from the start. also if you are on one of the enabled A330's I think you can fill out a survey to get a few mb's for free now.
