V-Flyer

Hi all,

Took a flight from LAX to SFO yesterday on Virgin America and just wondered how long it usually takes for miles to be posted to FC? My FC number was on the booking. Nothing is showing yet but just want to make sure I don't have to drop FC an email before anything happens?

Sometimes it's within 48 hours, sometimes it takes longer. I'd give it a good fortnight before you chase up.

I took a trip last September on VX and DL and both posted the following day. I took flight with DL on Saturday and still not posted.

mine have been taking around 3 weeks

I took two DL flights just under 3 weeks ago and neither has posted.

Looking at the boarding passes, though, I noticed the last digit of my FC number was missing so I wonder if that's why. I emailed in a manual claim yesterday so we'll see how long that takes ...

Don't get too excited - if you were in economy I reckon you'll only earn about 170. Double for Main Cabin Select or triple for First.

I think typically VX has posted at the 1-2 wk sort of timescale for me. A few days is too early to worry (not that that stops me from checking daily... )

Yep - that's about how long mine took

My Delta flights miles were posted with 24 hours. My VX flights have always taken ages to post 2-3 weeks.

So were all of mine - until my flight last Saturday, which stop hasn't.

Just as another data point, a VX flight I took on Thursday has just posted this morning.
