CH Access - Flying UC and AU

Hi all,
Quick question while I am waiting to board this train.
I took a flight a few weeks ago. I was flying UC and am AU.
Was traveling with two colleagues. My assumption was that as I hold both the "golden keys" to enter the CH I would have the option to take two guests in. After all, if I was only traveling PE I would have still been able to take one in.
I was shocked to find out that "Sorry, still only one" was the reply.
It didn't matter too much to me, I was going in anyway :D . It did make good fun seeing two grown men trying to work out which one of them was going to see the "other side" of flying and which one would be returned to the terminal building. I think "Rock, Paper, Scissors" was the decider in the end. y)
Sure I have had this before but at the time was flying to LAS form LGW and the nice lady let us all in.
Anyone here had any different replies or tried this??

I always assumed one 'golden' ticket per entry. Ie, one adult with the ticket (however it is earned whether via boarding pass or status) gives one adult entry.

Yes, as Marshy says there is no "double counting" so if you were successful before treat that as a bonus

It was meant very tongue in-cheek. I agree that rules are rules.
This was a grey area to myself and had a read thru the T&C's and could not find an "No".
