cancelling reward flights one way?

Edited- the answer from Virgin was-that there wasnt a full answer!

I can cancel 1 way and keep the other but how much it will cost depends on the pricing on the day. The out must be cancelled before the flight or the return will become invalid.

So now I have 4 uc returns, 2 UC outs and 1PE return!

Hopefully this will be able to move to what I want as availability comes up over next few months.

Interesting query. I was enjoying getting my head around it! What do they mean by the pricing on the day? The exact amount of surcharges etc for the return leg if you cancel the outbound?

hi- yes . they cant give the price until you cancel. So the return UC taxes were about £510 but the one way out in UC was £350 and the one way back in PE was £141.

When I cancel the UC out but keep the back they will then recalculate based on the price at the time I cancel and I will get a refund minus a fee (£30 I think she said) plus a full miles refund.
