Just had a text and email from Virgin saying Little Red will move to T2 in September.

Yet to hear any more about lounge facilities etc but it can only be a good thing moving away from T1 earlier than expected.

Anyone know if it will have it's own motorcycle parking.
I currently park under the ramp to terminal1 which is a right pain, literally as usually the only spaces are at the low end and I inevitably bang my head.

Indeed, as I mentioned here a couple of weeks ago: forum/index.php?f=7&t=285077&start=0&hilit=waves&rb_v=viewtopic

They will use the Aer Lingus lounge which, although not yet fitted out and still covered in hoardings, looks to have good airfield and possibly even runway views. A thousand times better than Servisair in T1.

Increasing evidence to confirm Little Red will be using the Aer Lingus lounge at T2.

Now if I remember correctly from my tour of that lounge last year, there are indeed good runway views of 27L, BUT the windows are covered externally by a slatting baffle type affair. Something about preventing aberrant reflections of the runway ILS off the large windows, and affecting landing navigation.

So the views will be okay.. photos not so much.

Any news on ppass lounges in t2?

The PP lounge, I believe, will be Plaza Premium.

Unlike the others it's hidden away on the lower level in a corner of the Flight Connections entrance. Unsure if it has windows/views - other Plaza Premium lounges elsewhere in the world get decent reviews though, a cut above most shared lounges I think.

The only other lounges in T2A, where LR will depart from, are Aer Lingus and Lufthansa. Whether they'll accept PP remains to be seen.
