It should be a pretty interesting use of technology. iBeacon could be used for a variety of things. For example if you are late for your flight cause you haven't paid attention, the virgin app could present a iBeacon message saying your running late as you walk past a announcement board. Or if you as you go near MoneyCorp, it could remind you to that if you want to change money, you can also earn FC miles. It also can accept payment so it is not just about advertising directly to your phone. ):
