There is not a Clubhouse at Las Vegas (as is the case at a number of US destinations), but there is a facitlity you can use:

Look at some Trip Reports to get a feel for what it might be like

It's called The Club at LAS and it is certainly no Clubhouse.

Typical American shared lounge - windowless, bland decor and very limited food offer.

We actually thought it was rather good. Very quite in July last year. Excellent sandwich and not bad hot soup. Very friendly bar staff with good range of drinks including fizz. No windows but better than I expected

Do not, under any circumstance, eat the pre-packaged muffins; my Otis Spunkmyer banana and walnut muffin continue to show no evidence of decay, despite being over 4 years old.

While standard priority pass lounges are acceptable, I'd never call them "rather good" if you've ever visited a clubhouse.

Hi Shirley,

I was in the McCarren lounge just last week ("The Club@LAS")and it was okay. Certainly no Clubhouse though. It's not huge but it wasn't at all busy so actually felt quite empty.

I found the staff to be very good and very friendly and the bar was well stocked (although the measures of Captain Morgan in my glass were a little on the small side).

In terms of food, there was a selection of pre-packaged rolls and sandwiches that included:

- Tuna Mayonnaise
- Roast Beef and Cheddar (when I say 'Cheddar', I do mean the American interpretation of cheese!)
- Turkey Salad
- Ham (and I've forgotten was else was in that).

There was also fruit, breads, soups, crudités, humus and various other dips.

Oh, and unlimited packs of Oreos ):

The VS flights to/from LGW and MAN, tend to pull up at the far gates (to your left as you go through security) and the lounge is opposite these and right next to the smoking room.

Hope you have a great time in Vegas.

Paul
