Virgin Holidays & Flying Club Miles

I read online somewhere (and can't find it now) that when you book a package with Virgin Holidays, you get 1 mile per pound spent on the holiday. I rang the Flying Club to ask about this and the chap I spoke to said he knew nothing about it? Just wondering if anybody else has managed to get miles for the money spent with Virgin Holidays?

Per Penny_L's response, yes you do if you book in store or by phone. They are posted 45 days after return from your holiday.

Ah, it was on the VS website, many thanks.
I booked by phone, so hopefully I should be able to claim.

Well, just rang Virgin Holidays and because we used Tesco Clubcard vouchers for a £300 discount per person on our £10K+ holiday, we are not eligible for Flying Club miles. :(!
Add that to the fact that they have removed the option to request Bubble seats (despite what the brochure says) and the removal of check-in chill-out facilities, and I'm starting to think that I won't be booking Virgin Holidays again.

They have also removed using Tesco clubcard vouchers for VH holidays. They were getting so devalued it was not worth it. You can still use your Virgin miles against a VH holiday, think its 10,000 for £50 off still very poor value IMHO.
