Daytime Hotel At Gatwick

Not sure how I've just noticed this but I've only allowed 1hr15min on arrival at Gatwick (from MCO) before my onward domestic connection home. That doesn't sound like a lot of time to get thru the UK Border.
Anyway if I miss my connection I've got a 6 hour wait to the next flight unless I bundle the family onto a coach and over to LHR. As part of contingency planning, any suggestions for a hotel at Gatwick for a few of hours sleep? Check in would be 10am depart 3pm.

You could try the new Gatwick BLOC in the terminal

Have any V-flyers stayed here as yet?

I'm staying next month, the reviews from Trip Advisor haven't looked bad, just wanted a V-flyers view.

Just looking at Gatwick Bloc, their terms say day rooms available 7am-4pm but their booking system doesn't seem to like it. They quote £84 for a night. They also only allow 4 per room and we're 2 adults and 3 kids (although youngest is only two). Nothing in the UK is designed for families of 5.
The Hilton in South Terminal are £129 for use of a family room 9am-6pm so that's probably our best bet.

Depends what standard your after, but Premier Inn [North Terminal] will do a Quad room + free crib for £79 late June

Not after any standard! Anything on the doorstep, I see from Google Premier Inn and Sofitel are next to each other.

you'll be landing at LGW south, so if your outbound is also from south I'd choose bloc simply on ease of access
the LGW hilton (from where i'm typing this) is ok but it's a twisty-turny route with many long corridors and a lift, and the north hotels mean getting the transfer train
i've used dayrooms in a few places, never been able to book online, always had to phone reservations, probably the same for bloc
