Revivals Lounge after Delta flight?

Hello all,

Apologies if this has been answered before (I did search, but couldn't find anything directly related to this).

I'm Flying Club Gold/AU, and I'll be on the DL403/VS5403, flying business class (Z), from JFK to LHR.

This is DL metal. Normally I fly on VS metal, and enjoy the Revivals lounge upon arrival into LHR. Will I be able to make use of Revivals on this trip?

The Virgin website says I can use it if arriving on a "'VS' operated flight."

Does anyone have any experience of this situation? Does DL have arrival facilities at LHR? I remember being offered a Yotel cabin once on arrival!

Incidentally, I'll be curious to sample the new DL Business Elite. Anyone else had a go? Any tips/thoughts?

Cheers!

NYLON

I would read that as being a "no", as the flight is not VS operated.

Thanks, pjh,

You just beat me to it!

I ended up phoning up Virgin CS at lunch today. They didn't know immediately, neither did their support, so they actually rang up the Revivals Lounge! Great CS, I thought!

The answer is - for this flight (DL403/VS5403)- "yes"! If arriving into LHR T3 on an identical route which VS also services on its own metal, DL passengers who are VS AU can use Revivals.

The example given being JFK-LHR morning arrival on DL="yes". But (currently, at least) ATL-LHR morning arrival="no".

What is not clear is whether DL passengers who are not VS AU, but are travelling Business Elite can use Revivals.

Hope this helps someone out there in the VS/DL ether...

Clear-ish then! I guess there is a problem of capacity management if the invitation is extended to Business Elite on DL metal...

lol, pjh! I've e-mailed them asking for clarification, as I imagine - for various reasons - I'm going to be on the DL product more often than the VS one. I've also asked for clarification on my other post about LHR Clubhouse access when flying DL metal.

I believe DL are also taking over the AirCanada arrivals lounge at T3 - so even if on a DL flight you should have access to an arrivals lounge. (When the new facility opens)

Interesting to know, @wwings, thanks!
