Hello all,

Firstly, thanks for allowing me join the v-flyer forum. I have read some of the posts/answers etc and I find the forum very informative.

Although I have just joined the forum, my fiancée and I have been loyal Virgin Atlantic customers for the past 4 years. We both love the product which VS has to offer.

We have just returned from 2 weeks in Florida having flown both routes from Glasgow in UC.

We get married on 20th December 2014 and have booked flights to Grenada in UC for our honeymoon over new year. However, I have never flown UC on the A330, only the 747. Can you please assist with which seats would be best?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Daniel

Hi and welcome!

Ah, the A330 - not the most popular UC cabin with V-Flyers it has to be said!

Unlike the 747s and the A340s there are no real "must have" seats but the general consensus seems to be go for A or K rather than D or G, and mid to front cabin, maybe rows 3-7?

Row 9 doesn't have windows if that matters to you.

Welcome ! Interestingly, having flown the A333 and the A346 in UC, I might be one of the few to prefer the former ...
The new suite is definitely more comfortable to sleep and I prefer the look of it.
At the end of the day, the one thing that makes or not my flight is the service.

My parents have just returned from BGI and flew on the A330 in UC for the first time and they much preferred it over the 747 / 346 UC cabin.

Outbound they had 1/2A and return 5/6 K and said that both were fine. I think as long as you stick to the A's or K's and don't get too close to the bar then the seats are pretty much all good.
