V-Flyer

Hi All,

New to the forum. I will be flying VS for the first time a couple of weeks from now, on BOM -LHR - JFK. I'm very excited about the trip, and from all I've heard and read, I'm particularly looking forward to spending a few hours at the Heathrow Clubhouse.

I would like to check if anyone is aware how often Upper Class menus are updated? I found a few trip reports on VS045 (LHR-JFK) from earlier this year, and was wondering what the chances are of me being presented the menu for my flight in mid-June. My return is in mid-July on VS046.

I would also appreciate any general tips or pointers you may have which would help maximize the experience

I don't know how often they change, but even when they do I don't notice the difference. Beef; Chicken; or Veggie
Chicken has a tendency to be a bit dry, but I would expect that from something prepared many hours before.

The Clubhouse: everything in moderation.

The new menu cycle starts on the 4th June ex UK/USA so whatever you've seen in trip reports up to now, will be different when you fly.

...apart from the fact (as dickydotcom says) it will simply be a case of "Beef, Chicken, or Veggie?"

Most probably but it could change. It has in the past, I've seen fish mains. All other destinations change on the 5th so you may get other items when travelling to India, Asia or carribean.

Indeed, I didn't have it but there was a paella ex-BGI the other day
